How smart is your phone?
Smart phones...hmm! What is so smart about this phone? How is a smart phone different than a cell phone? Well, mainly because it functions like portable PC. For some, a smart phone is a phone that runs complete operating system software providing a standardized interface and platform for application developers (Wikipedia).

My definition of a smart phone - QWERTY keyboard. I'd like to point out email, Internet, Wi-Fi, VGA connector, large screen. You get the jinx.

Brief history: The first smart phone was designed by IBM back in 1992. Followed by NOKIA in 1996. According to www.cnet.com top 3 smart phones are BlackBerry, iPhone, HTC. Which one do you own buddy?

After close examination I have come to a conclusion that a smart phone is a combination of a cell phone and PDA features. The common feature being Windows Mobile.

Hope these brings light to you if you have ever wondered what the difference is and what all the fuss is about.

Awards or Recognition

I just realised that the use and point of award shows is pointless really. I dont get it. Maybe thats why I havent watched any award event in like... I dont know....forever. Lets face it now, its forever the exact people who scoop the award and the rest have to clap and pretend its all right. No it is not. I worked hard. Just as much as you did or even more. I think they should have like a recognition ceremony. Where we just acknowledge those that have worked hard in like, lets see...5years. If not then why bother? In music they all going to go to Beyonce, Katy Price, 50 Cent, Jay Z. Film it will be Avatar Movie nominated for 11 academy awards... Oh come on! There other chidren? Lets just recognise them thats all. Im sure Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Prada will not agree with me. Truth be told designers look forward to award shows because thats when the stars come out to shine in their creations. So whats it going to be folks? AWARDS OR RECOGNITION

Reading and fashion

Books and cloths are my first love. They come right after my sleep. Lately I have been neglecting my sleep, which is no good. The okay part is, its because of my reading. Im still happy.

First, Im going to discuss my love for fabric. I enjoy going through pictures on facebook to see what people are wearing. Not because Im just having a look, no, its because its what I love doing. Spring is here and nothing is more fun than going to the park with my book, pick a spot and see what people are wearing. Its no fun during the cold season. Its mostly just coats, boots and scarves. Now that a bit of sun is upon us. Great.

At present Im reading Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol. Like all Dan Browns books, his latest is also an awe. Give it a few years and the movie will be in cinemas.

Me. Minding my own business I notice that gladiator sandals are so in. I knew this of cause, but didnt know that it was this bad. All sorts I tell you. Ankle and tall ones. Did I mention the colours? Oh my days! Its crazy. In honesty I like them too. Leather or go away.
